Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has made a sharp remark on Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, saying that he has a point to prove to live up to his head coach Mark Hesson’s praise. 

Nawaz was recently touted as the best spinner in the world by Hesson, following his stunning performance in Pakistan’s tri-series triumph against the UAE and Afghanistan.

As Pakistan are set to take on India next, Sourav Ganguly was asked about his thoughts on Mike Hesson’s massive claim. 

The former India captain made sharp retort, saying that Nawaz will have to prove that Hesson hasn’t lost his mind. Ganguly also commented on the deteriorating state of the India vs Pakistan rivalry over the years.
