07-May-2025.

India struck terror-linked locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir early on May 7. The attack, codenamed Operation Sindoor, was announced by the Indian government with a 2am statement that called the strikes "focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature".
The strikes were carried as part of a joint operation involving all the three armed forces and targeted nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The locations targeted included Bahawalpur and Mudrike in Pakistan, which are home to the headquarters of terrorist groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, respectively.
"Justice is served", the Indian Army tweeted earlier on May 7 as it announced the codename of the mission.
According to Geo News, Pakistan's military spokesperson has said that three people have died and over 12 have been injured in the strikes. Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad are among areas struck, Pakistan has claimed.
