Terrorists opened fire on tourists in the Baisaran Valley of Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on Aprl 22, killing 28 people. Many others were injured.
Some tourists were surrounded by militants dressed in military uniforms at around 3 pm on Tuesday. The militants asked them for their names and religion and opened fire.
28 people, including foreign tourists, were killed and many others were injured. It appears to be a premeditated attack by the militants.
Security forces rushed to the spot where the militants fired and launched a search operation. Local people rescued the injured with the help of horses.
