Power restored in western P.E.I.
The City of Summerside said power had been restored to all customers

Thousands of people in western Prince Edward Island lost power for the second Monday in a row, but service has now been restored to the region.
The City of Summerside said power had been restored to all customers across all circuits as of 11 a.m. through a combination of the city's backup generators and partial capacity from Maritime Electric.
"We may experience further outages again today, Feb. 10, until this issue has been fully rectified," the city said in a statement.
