Sonam Wangchuk breaks 26-day fast in presence of JP Nadda, Jitendra Singh

Social activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his 26-day indefinite hunger strike after meeting Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh at Medanta Hospital, where he was admitted due to health concerns. 

He began the fast on June 28, demanding education reforms and accountability for alleged exam paper leaks. Following talks involving Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Wangchuk stopped fasting in the presence of the ministers and his wife, Gitanjali Angmo. Prior to hospitalization, he protested with the Cockroach Janta Party at Jantar Mantar.
