Siddaramaiah orders caste survey completion by October 7

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed district officials to complete the state’s ongoing socio-educational survey by October 7, making it clear that the deadline will not be extended.

Reviewing progress in a high-level video conference, Siddaramaiah said initial technical glitches that slowed work for four days have been “90 per cent sorted” and the remaining issues will be fixed by the end of the day. “From today, survey work will be intensified, as per our projections,” he told officials.
