Sanjiva Ethirimanna Highlights Internal Conflicts in People's Liberation Front Over 'Rocket' Controversy

Prime Minister’s revelations in Parliament about the "rocket" incident have caused significant discord within the People’s Liberation Front (JVP). 

Sanjeeva Edirimanna, media spokesperson for the Sri Lanka People's Front, noted the escalating conflict between the National People’s Power and the People’s Liberation Front.

At a press conference on August 11, he said: "Special attention must be given to the rocket incident at the PELAVAT headquarters. The truth cannot be hidden forever, a principle rooted in Buddhist teachings.
This government, lacking faith in religion, has become antagonistic to religious doctrines. Prime Minister Harini Amarsooriya has denied allegations connecting the incident to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s youngest son."

The Prime Minister’s disclosure has intensified conflicts within the People’s Liberation Front and with the National People’s Power.

The public recognizes their disillusionment due to false promises and hate speech. People will soon unite in protest against the government’s fake activities.
