Left, TMC governments tried to damage Bengali Hindu traditions: Suvendu Adhikari

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari accused past Left Front and Trinamool Congress governments of undermining Bengali Hindu cultural traditions over nearly five decades. He praised the current BJP administration for restoring these practices, highlighting efforts to reinstate traditional festivals like Durga Puja. 

Adhikari referenced the pain of incarcerated Bangladeshi Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu and alleged divisive tactics by previous governments. He called for unity in preserving Bengali Hindu identity, heritage, and religious customs.
