Adidas confirms layoffs at India

Adidas is reportedly laying off nearly 50% of its India Tech Hub employees in Gurugram, affecting around 350 staff including software engineers and data scientists. 

The company cites aligning its operating model with business needs as the reason. Some employees received immediate exit notices, while others will remain until mid-December to complete handovers and seek other roles. 

Adidas plans to support impacted staff but has not disclosed severance details. The Gurugram hub is a key global engineering center alongside local marketing operations.
