AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami sharply criticized Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay and the ruling TVK government, accusing them of prioritizing image-building over governance. 

He highlighted issues including costly spending, rising crime rates, financial mismanagement, increasing public protests, and inflation. 

Comparing Vijay unfavorably to former CM J Jayalalithaa, Palaniswami warned of a governance breakdown and predicted the DMK's early downfall due to poor administration and unchecked state debt growth.
