Hasina's party launches nationwide stir against Yunus
26-Nov-2025.
Demanding the resignation of Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and rejecting the International Crimes Tribunal verdict sentencing ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to death, her party, the Bangladesh Awami League, on November 25 called for protests, demonstrations, and resistance marches across all districts until November 30.
Calling the verdict "illegal," the Bangladesh Awami League, while announcing the nationwide stir, went on to label Yunus a "usurper" and a "killer-fascist."
In an official statement on X, the party wrote, "Demanding the Resignation of Illegal Usurper, Killer–Fascist Yunus and Rejecting the Verdict of the Illegal ICT Tribunal."
