Gota Meets Mahinda

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his wife Anoma visited his brother, former President and SLPP leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, at Carlton House on September 21.

The meeting lasted over two and a half hours, with discussions initially focusing on family matters, followed by the current political climate and SLPP’s activities.

They also shared lunch together, after which Gotabaya took part in a religious ceremony where monks chanted pirith and gave blessings before he returned to Colombo.
