Former President Ranil Travels to Tamil Nadu

Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe is travelling to India on November 22 on a personal visit.
He is attending the wedding of Jeevan Thondaman, General Secretary of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress and an MP, in Tamil Nadu.
Due to this, he will not participate in the opposition protest march organized today in Nugegoda.
However, he has conveyed his blessings and best wishes for the success of the protest.
Several prominent Sri Lankan political figures and major Indian political leaders are also expected to attend the wedding.
It is also reported that Ranil Wickremesinghe will engage in several important secret meetings in Tamil Nadu.
