Ranga Thisanayake, Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, announced that details of assets and liabilities for 2025 have been published on the Commission’s official website. However, not all details are complete.

He stated that once the process is finalized, appropriate action will be taken against those who failed to submit their declarations.

He explained that under the 2023 Anti-Corruption Act, assets and liabilities must be submitted and protected through a centralized digital framework. Until that system is ready (expected by 31 March 2026),

submissions are being accepted in documented form under the older 1975 Act’s provisions.

Only the asset details of top officials (positions ranked 1 to 14) have been disclosed so far. Once the digital framework is active, all details will be made publicly viewable as required by law.
