US President Donald Trump stated Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, who lost Brazil's presidential runoff, can stay indefinitely in the US, though Trump has no plans to meet him or support his political ambitions. 

Flavio's arrival has heightened US-Brazil diplomatic tensions, especially after the Trump administration revoked Brazil's ambassador visa and issued one to Bolsonaro. 

Amid these strains, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira plan meetings to ease tensions and address ongoing disputes before upcoming G20 and G7 summits.
