Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath Delighted by Visit of Renowned Musician DJ Snake

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath has expressed his delight at meeting internationally renowned musician DJ Snake and his team, who visited Sri Lanka to participate in the Centre music event held in Colombo.

In a post on his official Facebook page regarding DJ Snake's visit and their meeting, Minister Vijitha Herath further stated:

"Beyond his remarkable achievements on the international stage, I was particularly impressed by his friendly and energetic personality. It was a wonderful experience to interact with an artist who is so humble and, at the same time, inspiring to others.

"We have confidence in the talent, creativity and dynamism of our younger generation.

"Music connects different cultures, inspires young people and brings the entire world together.

"In this regard, our vision is to transform Sri Lanka into a leading destination for international music events and world-class entertainment festivals. The Government is prepared to extend its full support to such initiatives while creating new and meaningful opportunities for our youth and the country's tourism industry."
