Edmonton teacher accused of committing online sexual offences against student

A teacher at a northwest Edmonton K-9 school has been accused of committing sexual offences against one of his students.

Internet child exploitation investigators say 32-year-old Dylan Rosychuk allegedly engaged in a sexually explicit online conversation with a student over the last two years.

Rosychuk was previously a drama teacher at Hilwie Hamdon School. An Edmonton Public Schools spokesperson said in a statement on Dec 10 that he no longer works in any of its schools or division buildings.
