Conflict spreads to Azerbaijan

Tehran endured fresh explosions as Israel and the US launched their 11th wave of attacks amid warnings to target deeper Iranian sites. Israel also hit Hezbollah command centers in Beirut. 

Iran expanded missile and drone strikes across the Gulf and into Azerbaijan. 

The conflict spread beyond the Middle East when a US submarine torpedoed an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, provoking Iranian retaliation against a US tanker. 

Over 1,200 deaths have occurred since the war began six days ago. India mourned Iranian Supreme Leader 

Khamenei's death following joint strikes.
