Jasprit Bumrah skips Dharamsala T20I

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Axar Patel were unavailable for the third T20I between India and South Africa at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Dec 14. 

India were forced into making two changes to their playing XI as they looked to return to winning ways on a chilly evening in the mountains.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav confirmed at the toss that Bumrah was not available for selection due to personal reasons, while Axar Patel missed the match after falling ill.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) later confirmed that Bumrah had returned to Mumbai to attend to the personal matter. 

It remains unclear whether the fast bowler will be available for the remainder of the series. 

The fourth and fifth T20Is are scheduled to be played on December 17 and 19 in Lucknow and Ahmedabad, respectively.
