TN minister Panneerselvam reacts to Vijay calling CM Stalin ‘Stalin Uncle’

M R K Panneerselvam, agriculture minister hit back actor-politician Vijay for teasing and addressing Chief Minister M K Stalin as "Stalin uncle, very wrong uncle", saying the actor lacked political decorum. 
Vijay had called out DMK Chief and TN Chief Minister as, ‘Stalin Uncle’ while delivering speech at his last week’s second state conference held in Madurai. 
 
The minister said, Politics and Cinema are not the same and the actor, probably carried away by the gathering of his fans, spoke as if he was delivering a movie dialogue.

He further said, "This shows Vijay’s immaturity. He targeted the DMK leadership presuming that this would serve his political cause. Cinema and politics are not the same," Panneerselvam said, criticising Vijay, the new born politician. 

The minister said the DMK has been implementing numerous welfare initiatives, including the monthly grant of Rs 1,000 to women. 

"We have participated in several protests in the past and have seen tough times. Our leader (Stalin) has been striving hard to improve the lot of the people by implementing pro-people programmes," the minister said while addressing the press.
