Tilvin to Visit the United Kingdom on the 21st

A meeting between the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Andrew Patrick and the General Secretary of the JVP Tilvin Silva took place on November 14 at the JVP Headquarters in Pelawatte, Battaramulla.

They exchanged views on the current political situation in Sri Lanka, as well as the longstanding relationship between the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka. It was stated that the UK would continue to extend cooperation to Sri Lanka in the future.

Tilvin Silva is scheduled to undertake a visit to the UK on the 21st of this month, and this too was discussed during the meeting.

Tom Soper, First Secretary (Political) at the British High Commission, Political Adviser Inshaf Mager, and Attorney-at-Law Madhu Kalpana representing the JVP were also present.
