A delegation of the Tamil National People’s Front (TNPF), led by Member of Parliament Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, is currently on an official visit to Norway, during which they will participate in a series of meetings throughout the week.

The delegation includes TNPF Leader and MP Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, General Secretary Selvarajah Gajendran, Official Spokesperson Attorney-at-Law Sugash, Policy Secretary N. Kandipan, and other members.

During their engagements, they will emphasize the urgent need for coordinated action between the Tamil homeland and the Tamil diaspora to prevent what they describe as ongoing structural and systematic genocide against Tamils.

Accordingly, the delegation is scheduled to take part in a cordial meeting with members of the Tamil diaspora in Oslo on the evening of Jan 4, where these issues will be discussed in detail.

Discussions will also cover a range of related topics, including the Sri Lankan government’s announced efforts to draft a new Constitution and proposals for a federal-based political solution for Tamils.
