Strong nation not built on power but on character, unity: India's Vice President

Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan on September 22 stated that the foundation of a strong nation is built not merely on power, but also on the character and unity of its people. 

He made these remarks during his first public address after assuming office, at an event organised for the release of the fourth and fifth volumes of selected speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The compilations, titled ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, have been published by the Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

During his address, the Vice President said that the development journey of India is guided by the spirit of Rashtra Pratham (India First) and that it is encouraging to see this principle reflected in the mindset and conduct of citizens across the country.
