Sri Lanka Will Not Act Under Any Country’s Influence: President Anuragumar

President Anuragumar has said that Sri Lanka would maintain a neutral stance in regional conflicts and allowed the second Iranian vessel with 208 personnel into the country for humanitarian reasons. 

He confirmed that Sri Lanka’s actions prioritize human life and neutrality, without favoring any country.

He detailed that the Iranian vessel was safely brought under control, its personnel rescued, and anchored at Trincomalee Port to minimize disruption to commercial shipping.
