Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s official vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, has been flagged for seven traffic violations since January 2024 by the city’s Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS).
Six of the cases were for not wearing a seat belt while travelling in the front seat, recorded at key junctions in the city. One additional case was registered for speeding on the elevated expressway near Kempegowda International Airport in July.
The total fines amounted to Rs 2,500, which officials confirmed had been cleared. The violations came to light after a netizen posted details of the CM’s vehicle on social media last week.
