President Anura to Visit Chemmani

Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Ramalingam Chandrasekar, stated that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake may visit the Chemmani mass grave in Jaffna.

Meanwhile, two air-conditioned buses of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) allocated to Jaffna Road have been repaired and handed over for reuse.

In response to a journalist’s question during the handover event, the Minister noted that, on the occasion of the President’s planned visit to Jaffna on September 1st, it remains uncertain whether he will proceed to Chemmani.
