Subsequently, the SDIG directed the matter to the Deputy DIG for Matara and Hambantota Districts, who then instructed the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Matara to take necessary steps through the Chief Inspector of Weligama and the Officer-in-Charge of Midigama Police Station.
