Parliamentary committee approves appointments of four ministry secretaries

The Parliamentary Committee on High Posts has approved the appointments of secretaries to four ministries.

The approval was granted at a recent meeting of the Committee chaired by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.

Accordingly, the Committee approved the appointments of retired Air Vice Marshal H.S.S. Duyyakontha as Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, L. Mohamed Nawawi as Secretary to the Ministry of Science and Technology, W.M.D.R. Wickramasinghe as Secretary to the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, and W.W.S. Mangala as Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation Services.
