Opposition Alarmed by Proper Enforcement of Law, Says Minister

Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure Samantha Vidyarathna stated on 26 February that opposition parties are unsettled by the consistent enforcement of the law.

He dismissed allegations raised by opposition groups regarding issues such as coal procurement and the recent cooking gas shortage, asserting that all decisions were made in accordance with the law and without public harm. 

He emphasized the independence of the judiciary and affirmed that the government remains unfazed by criticism.
