National Child Protection Authority Warns of Child-Related Scams After Disaster

The NCPA warned that certain individuals are collecting information about disaster-affected children for fraudulent purposes. 

Children displaced by the disaster are staying in shelters or with relatives, and their safety must be protected.

The NCPA advised parents and guardians not to share information or photographs of children with unknown individuals or on social media. Suspicious cases can be reported via the 1929 hotline.
