Indian rescue team arrives in Sri Lanka

An Indian rescue team arrived in Sri Lanka early on November 29.

They reached the country on an Indian aircraft.

The team consists of 76 men and 4 women, along with four sniffer dogs.

They have come to support rapid rescue efforts for people affected by the ongoing severe weather. Reports indicate they have brought disaster-relief equipment with them.
