Breach in Iranaimadu Tank’s flood-protection wall

Due to heavy rainfall in the catchment areas of the Iranaimadu Tank, its spill gates have been opened.

However, the flood-protection wall of the spill canal has breached, creating a flood-risk situation in the vicinity, the Disaster Management Centre reported.
