At least six people were killed and 65 others injured in Bangladesh after a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Dhaka on November 21, with tremors felt in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal, and Northeast India.

The quake struck 13 km south-southwest of Narsingdi, about 50 km from Dhaka at 10:08 am, and at a depth of 10 km, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
