Gujarat Police dismantled an interstate child trafficking racket involved in abducting and selling children for Rs 1-1.5 lakh. 

A four-year-old kidnapped on a Banaskantha highway was rescued within hours through Operation Dev, using CCTV analysis and technical surveillance. Two suspects, Shailesh Gamar and Babu Bhagora, were arrested; Gamar had a history of trafficking, while Bhagora allegedly arranged illegal marriages. 

The investigation is ongoing to uncover the network's full extent and other trafficking cases.
