Ajit Agarkar attends Duleep Trophy final days

Ajit Agarkar, chairman of the senior men's selection committee, made his first public appearance at the Duleep Trophy 2026 final in Chennai after missing a BCCI review meeting held at short notice. BCCI secretary clarified Agarkar was out of town and no contract extension was discussed. 

The meeting focused on team performance and upcoming series, including the World Cup. The Duleep Trophy serves as a platform for players to impress selectors ahead of India A's upcoming Test matches against Australia and New Zealand.
