Thunder Bay police investigating homicide on city's north side

The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating a death on the city's north side as a homicide.

In a media release issued on October 31, police said officers responded to a 911 call around 3 p.m. on Ocober 30 about a deceased 67-year-old man found in a residence in the 100 block of College Street.

Investigators believe the man may have been the victim of an "interrupted break-and-enter" at the home, and that the incident was not targeted.

Police have not yet provided any further details about the incident. Anyone with information, or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area on Thursday, is asked to contact police.
