Iran claims strike on Oracle data centre in Dubai, UAE denies attack

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for strikes on Oracle's Dubai data centre and an Amazon cloud site in Bahrain, escalating tensions by targeting US-linked technology infrastructure in the Gulf. 

These attacks follow IRGC's April 1 threat to hit major US tech and industrial firms, including Microsoft and Apple, in retaliation for attacks on Iran. 

Dubai denied the Oracle strike claim. The US responded, prepared to counter potential Iranian attacks and noting a recent decrease in missile and drone strikes.
