Bondi Beach Terror: 12 Dead in Hanukkah Attack

In a horrific terror attack on Sydney's Bondi Beach, 12 people have been killed and 29 injured after gunmen opened fire at a ‘Hanukkah by the Sea’ celebration.
One of the gunmen involved in the deadly mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach has been identified as 24-year-old Naveed Akram, as investigations continue into one of Australia’s deadliest attacks in recent years.
Cops are conducting a raid at Akram's home in Sydney's Bonnyrigg.
The shooting erupted in the evening of Dec 14 during Chanukah by the Sea, a public Hanukkah celebration that had drawn large crowds to the beachfront. As celebrations were underway, gunshots rang out across the area, triggering panic as people ran from the beach and the street
New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon declared the tragedy a ‘terrorist incident,’ confirming that one shooter, identified as Naveed Akram, was killed at the scene while a second is in custody
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the ‘evil anti-Semitism’ striking the nation.
