Australian PM Anthony Albanese Meets Bondi Hero Ahmed Al-Ahmad

In the wake of the devastating Sydney terror attack, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has visited the 'Bondi Beach hero' Ahmed Al-Ahmad in the hospital. 

The 43-year-old shopkeeper sustained gunshot wounds while bravely tackling and disarming one of the father-son terrorists who killed 16 people on Dec 14. 

Speaking to the media, Albanese lauded Al-Ahmad’s courage, stating, 'We are a brave country. 

Ahmed Al Ahmed represents the best.' The Prime Minister called for unity against the attackers' ideology, asserting, 'We will not allow this country to be divided. That is what the terrorists seek.'
