Won't join any alliance for Tamil Nadu polls: Vijay

Actor-turned-politician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief Vijay on February 13 said that his party will contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, exuding confidence that it will form the government with an absolute majority.

" Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam won't join the INDIA bloc or the NDA before or after the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. I am fully assured that Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam will get a full majority and form the next government in the state," Vijay said.

"I will definitely win. People are looking for a change," he added, expressing confidence that voters would back his party's 'whistle' symbol.
