We Stand with Sri Lanka; South African President

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed solidarity with families and communities affected by floods in Sri Lanka, as well as with rescue workers and medical personnel providing essential assistance.

As Sri Lanka faces severe disaster from floods and landslides caused by Cyclone , countries and organizations have expressed support and are providing relief.

In a post on his official X page, President Ramaphosa expressed concern about countries in the region, including Sri Lanka, facing major disasters.

He wrote that he is deeply concerned by the recent devastating floods in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.

He further stated that he stands with affected families, communities, and the workers providing critical support.
