Tamil National Council members meet Tamil Nadu Opposition Leader

As part of meetings with Tamil Nadu political leaders, members of the Tamil National Council led by Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam met and held discussions with former Chief Minister and current Leader of the Opposition, Edappadi K. Palaniswami. 

Discussions covered a political solution for Tamils and a resolution to the fishermen’s issue.

The meeting took place at 10:15 p.m. on Dec 18 at Palaniswami’s residence. 

Topics included rejection of a unitary constitution, creation of a federal constitution, and solutions to the fishermen’s issue. 

Letters detailing the political solution and the fishermen’s issue were also handed over to the Opposition Leader.
