1 dead, 2 injured in crash near Bancroft

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one person is dead and two others in hospital after a crash on Highway 28 near Denbigh on the afternoon of September 23.

Officers were called to the head-on crash between Addington roads 7 and 8 around 4 p.m., police said.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The road reopened overnight.
