MP Gajendrakumar Criticizes Attempts to Undermine Prabhakaran’s Leadership in the North

MP Gajendrakumar Ponambalam stated that the people’s liberation front had historically participated as ideological guides to destroy the liberation struggle under the leadership of Prabhakaran and committed acts of genocide. 

Those holding anti-Tamil nationalist policies today attempt to undermine and disparage Prabhakaran and the Tamil freedom fighters in the North and East.

He indicated that the main actors in these efforts include the current Minister of Fisheries, who attended events commemorating freedom fighters like Thileepan. 

These individuals, opposed to the Tamil nation, attempt to manipulate public perception by hiding, disparaging, or twisting the legacy of Prabhakaran and his martyrs to assert control over the North and East. 

Kajendrakumar emphasized that such actions reveal the failure of anti-Tamil nationalist ideologies.
