Lalu Yadav's daughter quits politics

RJD chief Lalu Yadav's daughter, Rohini Acharya, on November 15 said she'd quit politics and severed ties with her family, a day after the party suffered a debacle in the Bihar Assembly polls. 

She alleged that Tejashwi Yadav's aide Sanjay Yadav and her husband Rameez Alam had some role to play behind her taking this step.

"I’m quitting politics, and I’m disowning my family. This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do, and I’m taking all the blame," Acharya posted on X.
