Jaishankar meets Tilvin Silva

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said India will remain a reliable partner to Sri Lanka in line with its “Neighbourhood First” policy.

He made the statement during a meeting in New Delhi on February 6 with a delegation led by JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva.

Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring cooperation in social welfare. Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s continued support, highlighting assistance during Sri Lanka’s economic crisis and after Cyclone Ditwah.
