Indian High Commissioner meets Opposition Leader

A key meeting between Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa was held in Colombo.

The meeting took place on May 12 at the India House in Colombo.

During the discussion, both parties held extensive talks on further strengthening bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and India, as well as on Sri Lanka’s current political developments and recent political situation.

In a post on Twitter, the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka stated that bilateral relations and recent political developments were discussed during the meeting with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.

The meeting is viewed as significant in maintaining diplomatic and political engagement between the two countries.
