G.C.E. Advanced Level Exams Begin on November 10; Extra Classes Banned After November 4 Midnight

The G.C.E. Advanced Level Examinations will commence on November 10, the Ministry of Education announced. Accordingly, from midnight on November 4, all seminars, workshops, extra classes, and private tuition for A/L students will be prohibited until the end of the exams.

The exams will continue until December 5. All schools will close on November 7, and reopen on 8 December after the examinations.

The third school term will continue until December 19, marking the end of the 2025 academic year. Schools will remain closed until December 31, and the new academic year will commence on January 1, 2026.

The first term (Jan 1–Feb 13) will be followed by holidays (Feb 14–Mar 2). The second phase of the first term will run from Mar 3–Apr 10, with holidays from Apr 11–19.

The second term will be from Apr 20–Jul 24.

The third term will run in two phases: Jul 27–Aug 7 and Sep 7–Dec 4, with holidays from Aug 8–Sep 6.
