Foreign Minister Holds Meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State

Foreign Minister Vijith Herath, who is currently in the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly, has been engaged in several important meetings.

As part of these engagements, he met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Alison Hooker for discussions on key matters. 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and on constructive issues concerning shared priorities.

Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that Minister Vijith Herath also met with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.
