Karnataka's food safety crackdown revealed serious hygiene and quality violations in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and public food facilities, leading to the seizure of over 1,000 kg of expired and unsafe food. 

Inspections covered major cities like Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Mangaluru, including government and community outlets.Authorities issued multiple notices and collected food samples for testing. 

The campaign enforces the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, aiming to ensure proper sanitation, temperature control, and regulatory compliance across the state's food establishments.
